Fishing in Laguna Madre continues to be good with redfish, black drum and small trout caught. Low tides will concentrate  Black drum in holes and channels. Live shrimp or peeled dead shrimp.  Redfish in sandy grass pockets.  Rain forecasted to start the week

Water warming into the high 60's and warmer air tempatures, Spring is right around the corner.  Fishing piers on the humble channel have been productive for trout.  Redfish in the flats in the afternoon

Water levels have increased compared to low tides of the past few weeks. Small trout still being caught in the intracoastal, with pier fishing picking up in the Laguna Madre

Water tempatures in the 50's have moved fish into deeper water in the mornings. When the sun comes out and air tempature is increasing trout have been caught on the flats adjacent to deep water.

Strong South winds through the week could make for difficult conditions. Game activity tables show good conditions early in the week and slowing into the weekend. High water is starting to recede but still higher than normal conditions.

Looks to be another great week of fishing in South Texas. Fishing Activity is forecast to be at its peak through the weekend. A full moon should this weekend should help the morning and evening fishing.

Improving wind conditions for the week beginning May 16th should make for great weather. Sunday is forecasted to have good fishing conditions with early evening being the best time for the day. The remainder to the week looks to have minimal game and fish activity. Might have to work hard to find them this week.
